Haninge is growing, and we are now looking for a Placement Coordinator who wants to contribute to securing the right support for our residents. We are looking for you who want to take a central role where your work contributes to making a difference for children, young people, and adults in need of, among other things, both internal/external housing solutions and open care. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a development-oriented environment where you contribute to shaping working methods, processes, and structures.

We are now looking for a Placement Coordinator for a permanent position.

Your assignment

You are responsible for calling up services from framework agreements and direct procurement of measures directed towards children, young people, young adults, and adults.

In close collaboration with your colleagues, you contribute to the handling of incoming placement requests from social secretaries/case workers, as well as place requests and price negotiations with external providers. The position includes handling and investigating deviations related to directly procured contracts. In daily work, you collaborate closely with private providers, the staff's quality team & contract controllers, the authority department, and other functions within your own administration. You are a driving force in the administration's joint placement team and participate actively in the placement forum.

You work continuously with direct procurements and ensure that these are conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU). You are responsible for, together with social secretaries/case workers, following up on directly procured contracts and placements, as well as reviewing documentation related to the provider. The work includes negotiating place prices, contract follow-up, renegotiating contracts, reviewing invoices, and ensuring that requirements and invoice documentation are practically met for all external placements.

The role has an administration-wide perspective, and in operational work, the task is coordinated in close collaboration with the administration's contract controller. The position also includes that on certain days you may handle acute placement measures. The work may involve travel around Sweden.

Examples of tasks:

  • Actively search for and match providers for measures within Individual and Family Care (IFO)
  • Conduct call-ups and direct procurements according to LOU
  • Follow up on directly procured contracts together with the responsible social secretary/case worker
  • Negotiate prices and terms
  • Handle deviations related to providers
  • Participate in the placement forum and work operationally in the placement process
  • Register documents and document according to current routines

What we are looking for in you

  • Social work degree or another bachelor's degree considered relevant.
  • Experience of social work within IFO
  • Knowledge and experience of contract management
  • Good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing and that you are well acquainted with the Swedish language

  • Experience of authority exercise according to LSS
  • Experience of Ciceron
  • Experience of LifeCare

Employment may be offered after a approved extract from the police register has been obtained. Probation may apply.
